Where were Nate and the girls during all the excitement last night? Emma was with her cousins and Mia was with Dad...bear hunting. It was the last night, and Kaylon REALLY wanted to go, but needed someone to drive him. So Nate went, and took Amelia. She was SO excited. Emma was a little worried for her.
It was wet, muddy, and raining when they got there. {They sit across the canyon from a Bear Bait, and watch for the bears to come in.} Her pants were wet, and Nate had to lift her through some of the muddier parts. She didn't seem to mind, though. But Nate had a good laugh at their conversation that went something like this:
They didn't ever see a bear.
Emma: Mia, don't go. Bears eat people. They even chased Sam.
That little warning did not stop her. She wanted to go.
